This Airdrie Angel story is about a couple that has been married 57 years, and recently the wife has had to go into the hospital due to a serious illness and the husband was not able to remain in the home by himself, due to advancing illness. They have lived in Airdrie for close to 50 years.  The last few months have been very difficult for this couple, as they have been trying to stay in their home and had planned for a family member to move in and help with personal care and day to day tasks. Unfortunately, this family member passed away very unexpectedly, and has left the family grieving the loss of an adult child.
