Jenny has been the primary care-giver for her granddaughter, who has special needs, since birth. They are both extremely positive and upbeat and they obviously share a very special bond. Due to her granddaughter’s needs, it is apparent that Jenny has some caregiver fatigue and that finances are sometimes a struggle (she was the victim of a theft in December). Despite her struggles, Jenny does not complain or feel sorry for herself. She is very happy to care for her granddaughter, though she admits it is hard at times and a lot of work. Jenny doesn’t expect help, but her nominator thought that a small gesture of kindness would be uplifting for her and quite a nice surprise
