This recipient is a 27 year old mom of 3 boys, one who has autism, and is newly separated. Her ex-husband was diagnosed with what they believe is terminal cancer, and to make matters worse he was laid off one year ago. Emily works two part time jobs and tries to support her ex-husband as much as she can. She is also working towards completing her LPN through Bow Valley College. This past year has been exceptionally stressful – emotionally and financially. Her friends wanted Emily and her boys to catch a break – to make their days through this difficult time a little easier. We were more than happy to help!
