The regular Airdrie Angel recipient for the month of May is anonymous due to her previous relationship. She is a low income single mother of 3 children. This lady was recently let go from her job as her daughter was unexpectedly ill and she had to miss work to care for her. She was getting behind on her rent due to this unfortunate situation that kept her from work. The nominator said that the recipient “could use a little pick me up and a smile and I think being chosen for Airdrie Angel would give her a little boost of encouragement to keep going strong. I am amazed by her spirit, drive and compassion.”
The recipient recently started a new job and is doing everything she can to get caught up financially. She’s exactly the kind of person we want to help.
