Ryan and his wife came to Alberta for a chance at a better life with their young family. Ryan was recently laid off. His wife then had a medical emergency and required surgery. Ryan then had the responsibility of caring for his wife and children at home. Ryan then got sick, he was admitted to hospital with a complicated stay. Ryan and his family are struggling to deal with the stress of his illness and their extreme financial distress. Both Ryan and his wife have worked hard to keep their home going. They continue to demonstrate a strength in spirit and are appreciative for any and all support offered to them. They do not talk negatively of this experience; they believe that things will get better. Both Ryan and his wife are looking forward to a time when they can return the support and kindness shown to them.
